Dorothia
Rohner studied
illustration, fine art and graphic design at several universities
before ultimately earning her degree in Biological Pre-Medical Illustration
from Iowa State University. After graduation she worked as a scientific
illustrator, production artist and a graphic designer. She now works
as a freelance illustrator and artist at Painted Wings Studio. She
has illustrated for garden and children's magazines, various educational
publications and has painted botanical and butterfly commissions for
private collections. She licenses her images for stamps to Stampourri!,
as well as Hallmark Cards and Western Woods Inc. Besides drawing and painting, she enjoys gardening, raising butterflies, watching the birds, and spending time with her family. She continues to draw, paint and design from her home-based studio in rural Nebraska. www.paintedwings.com |
